C.O.R.E. Club

C.O.R.E. Club (Connections, Opportunities, Recreation, Empowerment) delivers regularly scheduled life skills workshops for a group of registered youth ages 5+ (teenagers welcome!) and screened and trained volunteers. Workshop are offered at least 1 – 2 times a month to enhance life skills such as relationship skills, social awareness, responsible decision-making, self-management, self-awareness, positive identity, mental wellness, social inclusion, empowerment, commitment to learning, and enhanced constructive use of time. The youth learn new skills along side other youth and adult volunteers, gaining positive relationships along with their new skills. Each workshop takes place after school and/or on weekends, typically between 2-3 hours in length.
